Emirates Airlines announces repatriation flights for tourists

Emirates Airlines has launched a repatriation plan for tourists trapped in the United Arab Emirates and wishing to return to their home countries.

After the sudden closure of all the country's airports to international traffic, many tourists were affected, unable to return to their countries. Earlier this week Emirates Airlines announced the scheduling of several repatriation flights to different European destinations (London, Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels and Zurich). Given the low influx of passengers on these flights, the airline has announced the cancellation of them in the coming days. On the other hand, the authorities do not recommend UAE residents to leave the country since, until further notice, they will not be able to return to the United Arab Emirates, with nationals abroad being the only ones allowed to enter the country.
